With all “good intentions” aside, this bill could give cause for authorities to enter your home to investigate whether a claim against you having an unsecured firearm within your home. If this is enacted as is, an “unsecured” firearm and/or ammunition would cause a fine of $5,000.
That would be a violation of not only your 2nd Amendment Right, but also your 4th Amendment Right.
